okay, so i just have to brag a little………….. for awhile now eli has been writing letters by accident when he drawing and then recognizing them, like a scribble looks like an “A” or something, so today he was drawing on the chalk board and kept doing that so i wrote out his name to see if he could copy it, and my little boy wrote his name ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! i’m SO proud!! unfortunately it was on the chalkboard, and he was ready to erase it right away, so i’m glad i had the camera out!

this morning the boys and i went to tamar’s for breakfast, and to play. i got to take some pictures of aidan and lucy, they turned out pretty good. how could they not? her kids are darling!!!!

okay, so i just love this kid! he has the greatest imagination ever, these pictures are all him. he decided what he was going to wear, and he was in character from the moment he stepped in front of the camera! isn’t he so cute?

great finds……

i was inspired by the weather to get my behind out of the house this morning! after running a few errands, i stopped at the little boutique that has my paintings, and came across this amazing bonnet! isn’t it perfect for baby girl pictures? now i just have to find me a baby girl! my best friend janna is coming up for my birthday in a couple of weeks with her little girl kate, i’m sure i can get some use out of it then! oh, and the owner of the store said i can bring in a couple of framed pictures and some cards, and they will advertise for me! i just can’t wait to get started making money at my most favorite thing to do in the whole world! does it get any better?
i can’t step foot in that store without finding stuff for miss emma and naomi! this little skirt and hand painted hair bobs jumped in my hands, and i couldn’t put them down!

eli and dylan got haircuts today! i could never bring myself to cut off eli’s hair, but it’s just been so out of control lately, and we have to get it cut every two weeks, or people start telling me what a pretty girl i have. anyway, ihad a really hard time, but i finally let toni do it! he is SO proud!! he can’t stop looking in the mirror. i know it is still kind of shaggy, but it’s the shortest it’s ever been since he grew hair. i guees i need to come to terms with the fact that he’s not my little baby anymore! But i think i’m already ready to let it grow some!

my BIG helper….

i was going through some older photos on my computer trying to find some to play around with on photoshop, and i came across these. i don’t know why i never did anything with them last fall, but i was excited when i found them today! i remember how proud he was that day, helping eric and i get the yard ready for winter. my sweet boy!
