goody goody gumdrops…….
okay, so i know i haven’t blogged much lately……i’ve kind of been having a rough couple of weeks personally. but in the midst of it all, i found out that i won $100 shopping spree to quilthome.com. now some of you might be saying, so? well, this was the best news i could have recieved. i have been stalking a few sites for about a month waiting to get a look at amy butler’s new line of fabric, NIGELLA! i knew i had to have it, (something about it just makes me happy inside!) but there was just SO much to choose from. anyway, i immediately placed an order, and got it in like two days, and have been planning, working and sewing ever since! my mom bought me this pattern a couple of months ago for these gumdrop pillows….aren’t they delicous? so easy, and fast, yet they make quite a statement. i also painted armoire this week. i’ve had it forever, and it either needed a change, or it needed to go, so it’s still here, just with a little makeover.
anyway, these projects have kept me going the last few weeks, gave me something to do to keep my hands and mind busy, since i really didn’t feel like leaving the house and facing the world. God must have known i needed that. i am now inspired in other parts of the house, so maybe there will be more to see soon…………

Amy: Congrats on the shopping spree! That's so exciting! All of the pillows look so great and it looks like Dylan likes them too...Sorry to hear you've been going through a rough time. :(

Viv: Beth you are so gifted, is there anything you can't do? Your home looks beautiful and I am so excited for you and proud of you.

The Christian's: Oh my goodness!!! I thought those pictures were out of a magazine showing the fabric you won! You are so talented!! I love it all! And congrats on winning the shopping spree...that would brighten my day too. :)

Andrea: Beth I love this!!! It's so funny because I have been doing the same thing...working on decorating my apartment lately. We just got it painted and hung curtains and I was looking at this same fabric that I heard about from you...we have very similiar tastes...these are all of my exact colors! Where did you find those pictures on your wall? Or are they framed fabric? Anyway, love it all! Hope things are getting better!

Tamar Schrater: BETH!!! Love the way the armoire turned out! The color is perfect. And your fabric...it's stunning! It makes such a bold statement. Remember not too long ago when you didn't like patterns? Now look at you getting all crazy! :) I just love it all.

the yaney's: Wow, your talents are amazing! I love your pillows and your armoire looks great. I just recently re-decorated an area in my house using the same color scheme. Keep up the good work!

Jme: Beth I love these! I found a place here in Gilbert (incidentally where I shop for all my flannel fabrics!) that carries her patterns and fabrics. I want to make some of the ottomans...I love them! :) Great job!

emma & naomi's mommy: they are so cute sister! I wish i had half your talent, if you ever have an idea you just do it! Proud of you...
