daybreak……

October 22, 2007
okay, so the title of this post is a bit decieving…….
on saturday we went to a park called daybreak.
anyway, we were on our way home from eric’s parents house, and eric took a bit of a detour. this park, or trail, is one of the spots where he fishes from time to time. it was raining, and yucky outside, but he assured me that we wouldn’t melt, and that i should just trust him.
well, it turned out to be a really fun experience. not just the trail, and the rain, but all of us together. sometimes i think we just get caught up in the normal weekend routine, and we don’t make time for the “experiences”.
lately, that has been different, and we have grown closer as a family because of these little outings eric keeps insisting on :)
(not to mention the photo opps they present!)
so here it is my view,
my family…….
everytime i go to take a picture of eli, lately, he starts moving all weird, and striking these bazaar poses……..then he’ll usually snap out of it, atleast for a minute…..

eli getting reprimanded…..
(he wanted to get closer to the water)
i just love watching eric be a father, so gentle, yet strong, and his boys just adore him! what more could i ask for?

so there you have it.
an ordinary day, turned extraordinary.
this was only the beginning of the amazing pics i got. if i get to it, i’ll try and post some more, but you know how it is……..a new day, new experiences, new pictures!

The Christian's: What a neat place!! It looks beautiful and I love all of the pictures!!

Mary: Great pictures Beth! Love the rain boots! Your family is just beautiful! Those kinds of days are my favorite.........love going for rides never knowing where you'll end up! It's always fun :)

Tamar Schrater: BEEEEEEAUUUUTIFUL.
Wow. The colors are so vivid. I especially love the rain boots picture and the rainbow one. Lucy and I saw this amazing double rainbow Saturday night...too bad you weren't there to capture it! ;D

emma & naomi's mommy: I love moments like that, and I love the way you describe it! You really are good at expressing yourself in writing. I love you...Maui is amazing, I've tried to post but blogger wont let me upload any pictures.

the yaney's: The pictures are to die for...looks like you guys had such a great day! Every time I look at pictures of your boys I can't get over their eyes, they are striking!!!

Amy: Loved reading your post today. Your pictures are wonderful. Moments like that truly make for memories.

You are so right in that it is fun to leave behind the normal routine for some adventure. I think having boys and being a bit "outnumbered" forces me in a good way to do this. I love when that happens to us.

Love the picture of you and Eli. Great pics and nice post!

emma & naomi's mommy: miss my boys, and you too pee pee.

Hannah: You are seriously so talented... your gonna have to give me a lesson, I'd love to be able to document our girls life as good as you do.

Amy: Oh my!! I am loving these pictures!!! What special memories you are making...

jessamyn: these are gorgeous...'nuf said!

Andrea: These are beautiful! I love to do little outings myself, my girls are always so much happier when we are out of the house exploring the world. Your pictures really make me want to go to WA.
