our first fashion show…..
December 12, 2007on thursday, heather called and said she had recruted eli and dylan for a fashion show that the girls were going to participate in at the christmas stroll.
i wasn’t sure at first if we were up for it, but it ended up being really fun!
eli and dylan seemed to be game. okay, eli was beyond excited. all day he kept calling it a “talent show”
we found out at the end that he really did think that it was a talent show. he cried and said
“but mommy, the lady didn’t give me the microphone!”
this explains him running up on stage, when it wasn’t his turn yet, and going straight for the lady with the mic, and staring at her with a confused look on his little face.
she had to say “thank you eli” a few times before he caught on that it was time to get off of the stage.
dylan came up on stage after eli, layed down on his belly, and scooted off of the front of the stage……..bottom first.
i didn’t catch any great pics of them, because during all of this, emma and naomi were on stage modeling their sweet little outfits just perfectly, and i was taking pictures of them!

after the show, we all went to a little diner on plumas, and had dinner.
emma and eli were at the next booth with mimi and papa.
we were waiting for our food, and i looked up and saw this.
i just love it!
