conversion..
April 7, 2008since we no longer have a television (thanks to dylan:) i decided to convert our tv armoire into a workspace for myself. we don’t have a designated office space in our house, so work takes place wherever, and i’m getting to the point where i need to be able to sit and work, and also store packaging materials, and files. it’s small, but a start. and i couldn’t do it without making kinda cute…
oh, and at the top our portable DVD player has found a home, so the boys can
watch videos….
this is my new canvas that i’ve been wanting…it came by way of fed ex last friday. i’m SO excited to have it, it’s so beautiful, this picture doesn’t do it justice. it’s 16x 24 so it’s a nice size. i think this is my favorite picture of eric and the boys EVER! it’s just so….them:)
and don’t mind the unfinished wall behind it…i hope to work on the trim this week, i just bought myself a little mouse sander, eric says that the trim is my project since he has done the floor…we’ll see…
+ j o s i a h . m i c h a e l +: i like your setup! i'm the same way- i have to have everything in order and organized or i can't work. i don't think i have ocd but some think i do haha. i get irritated if there are little crumbs on my desk! don't get me started ;)
the canvas does look really good! i would like to get one for my dad for fathers day... but i think a business license might come in handy? do you know if i need one for canvas on demand? if i do, i'll go get one because i don't think i can work much longer without one (city laws). let me know!

As for the canvas...breathtaking and I'm sure it's even more beautiful in person! What a great moment captured in time! It will be perfect on your wall. :)
Good luck with the trim ~ I have a feeling that's going to be a tedious part of this project you are working on. :) But it will all look wonderful when you are done. Just keep the "end" in mind! :)

is it crazy expensive? i haven't done any research. i just saw some pics on canvas at a local store and i though...HOW PERFECT!!!
