i took these photos last weekend in eric’s dad’s garden while the boys were helping grandpa plant. i need to post pictures of that, but i while going through those pictures, i came across these, and i couldn’t help myself. i like when i have images that work together. i have also been spending some time perusing other photographers sites, looking for inspiration. these happen to be inspired by the talented alicia bock. these come no where near her stuff:) there is something about the tones in her work that is just so calming. i struggle with this style in my portrait work, but i’m loving how it works here. maybe these might just find a home in my kitchen somewhere.

thanks for dropping by my new space and for leaving me such wonderful encouragement. that meant so much to me. even in just starting something very small, it takes courage to put your stuff "out" there, especially when the confidence is in the building stages!:) so...thank you!
