blueberry picking…
July 16, 2008on sunday we went blueberry picking…it was a lot of fun, and we came away with a lot of berries:) i have to say, dylan is quite the worker, as long as you watch him closely…there were times when he was eating faster than he was picking! we joked that they should weigh the kids on the way in, and again on the way out! eli was over it before anyone else, but i think that next time we should go a little earlier, at 9:30 it was already pretty warm outside. i’m not a big fan of blueberries, so i’m holding out for the blackberries and raspberries to be ready!

Hannah: I love picking blueberries, if the girls we're older I would be out there with you. In the mean time I stocked up at winco and have a bunch frozen in the freezer for snack time.
emma & naomi's mommy: I like the "over it" one, and I hope those were organic!!!

Jme: Looks like fun! :) I would imagine that it's fun for a little bit and then....not so fun, especially when it's hot! :)
Uncle Matt freezes them and makes smoothies with them ~ you could try that. :)
