my baby is a kindergartener.
September 9, 2009this morning on the way to eli’s first day of kindergarten, he looked at me and said “mom, you are one of the most important things in my life.” my sweet boy must have sensed that i needed some reassurance as i watched him take his first step of independance…
…and he is more than ready. can’t you see the excitement in his perfect little face? i did pretty well. too:) no tears from me..i think i’ve cried enough over the summer just anticipating this day. i was emotionally prepared. there is something to say for having a child that is so terribly excited to learn. eli’s going to give his sweet teacher a run for her money…in the best way possible.

oh brothers. dylan is so proud.

just cause i love this face, too.

heading into the building…doesn’t he look so grown?

yes you are sweet baby. and don’t you forget it.
